"Applied DSP for Audio Applications" Workshop to be presented at ALMA in Las Vegas, NV on Tuesday, Jan 6th, 2009. Al Clark of Danville Signal and Paul Beckmann of DSP Concepts will be presenting "Applied DSP for Audio Applications" at the 2009 Winter Symposim of The International Loudspeaker Association, www.almainternational.org. The course provides an overview of Digital Signal Processing with an emphasis on audio applications. It includes basic theory on filters and filter design, and discusses practical issues faced when implementing algorithms in real-time on a digital signal processor. The material is presented in an easy-to-understand format with a heavy emphasis on practical application. This course is ideal for engineers with a basic understanding of signal processing seeking an introduction to digital processing concepts. It is suitable for R&D engineers and speaker designers.
