You can create small, robust standalone SDR and other high speed signal processing applications by combining a specialized dspblok high speed I/O module with a dspblok DSP/FPGA module.
The picture on the right is an example with a 60mm x 100mm footprint.
The dspblok I/O module includes the data converters, signal conditioning, power supply circuits and clocks, everything except the signal processing core. A dspblok DSP/FPGA module completes the system.
I/O requirements tend to vary from one application to the next. Danville can manufacture a dspblok I/O module that meets your special requirements. Since the I/O has been decoupled from the DSP and power supplies, a custom I/O board is much easier (and therefore, less expensive) to create than a complete embedded system. You can also create your own custom I/O boards. Danville can supply you with pcb templates and design rules to help you get started.
